A few weeks ago, I received a box of full sized Mirra Beauty Products from The Kroger Company, as part of the Global Influence Network.   Boy did I have a great time trying these products!

About Mirra Beauty Products

Mirra beauty products are made with all natural ingredients like olive oil, aloe leaf juice, and cranberry, bamboo, honey, and chicory root extracts.  This must be why everything smells so good!  The line includes shampoos, conditioners, hair styling products, body washes, body mists, facial and skin care lotions, cleansers and cleansing cloths, eye firming and age defying creams, and cosmetic brushes.

My Opinion

I received the Exfoliating & Detoxifying Facial Cleanser, Protective Body Lotion, Color Care Shampoo & Conditioner, Wrinkle Reduction Eye Cream, Deep Moisture Day Cream, and Foundation Brush.

My favorite product was the facial cleanser.  This cleanser contains apricot seeds that do the exfoliating and oxygenated derma-beads that do the detoxifying.  I have acne prone skin and during my 2-week trial of this cleanser, my blemishes cleared up very nicely and my skin is incredibly soft.

My next favorite was the eye cream.  This cream really does help with eye wrinkles.  Even though I’m still a spring chicken, I have my share of wrinkles (thanks kids!) so I found it to be very helpful.

The day cream was my next favorite.  I get really dry skin in the winter and this truly helped to keep the moisture in while not clogging my pores.  I also loved the smell of the body lotion, but found it to be a bit thin.  I need more of a cream in the winter, but this would make a lovely summer lotion with its light, airy scent and feel.

Finally, even though I do not have color treated hair, I have been using the shampoo and conditioner.  These hair products smell great and made my hair very soft.  Oh yea, and the foundation brush was really nice, until I broke it.  I really should not be allowed to play with tools.

Welcome to my very FIRST GIVEAWAY!!! I am so incredibly excited about this product because it is fantastic!  So, without further ado, I bring you SnackTAXI.

Background
SnackTAXI’s are reusable bags for snacks, sandwiches, and produce.  In addition, SnackTAXI also offers reusable napkins, full sized lunch sacks, and make-your-own taxi kits. They were designed as an alternative to plastic zip bags.

The bags have a 100% cotton exterior and are lined with nylon that has a polyurethane coating on the part that does NOT touch the food.  All bags are free of lead and phalates.

Review
So, SnackTAXI sent me some to review.  I used them to take some food to work with me this week.   I used the Snack Sack for pretzels and cereal as a snack and used the Sandwich Sack one for my sandwich each day.  I also used the Produce Sack to carry some fruit and veggies.  I keep the Twice-As-Nice Napkin in my purse and use it constantly!

Holy awesome, Batman!  They are so practical and everyone at work wanted to get their hands on some!  Everyone commented on the designs and what a great idea they were.

There are so many fabulous qualities of these bags.  First of all, they are reusable, which I love for the environmental factor.  I also love that this feature saves you money in the long run.

OK, they’re reusable, so you must be able to wash them, right?  Yes!  They can be machine washed and dried OR for longer life, you can hand wash and air dry them.  I love having the option to do either depending on time.

Second, there are different sizes to accommodate all different types of foods.  The Snack Sack is smaller and is ideal for snacks; the Sandwich Sack is larger and is better for sandwiches.   They all have velcro closures too, which completely holds in all the food.

Then there is my favorite awesome quality of SnackTAXI – the designs!  There are a bunch of different designs to choose from.  Some are more kid-like and others are very pretty for mom. Definitely something for everyone!
