Friday Flop – Too Many Balls In The Air!

So lately, I’ve been biting off a tad more than I can chew. It’s common for me; like a challenge to see how much I can really accomplish at once. It’s freakish, really.
This time, I’m attempting to finish my last month of grad school, work full time, tend to 2 small kids, a husband, and a house, run 2 coupon forums, keep up with 5 blog posts per day, update the printable coupon and free samples pages of the site, read 2 books for giveaways, and do various guest posts. It exhausts me just to write it!
So with all this going on, I was doing up my own deals for Rite Aid for the week. I was so excited that I would be turning a profit again between sales, coupons, and Single Check Rebates. And some of the items were things we really did need. I go to the store and make my purchases.
Two weeks later, I am wondering why my Single Check Rebates are not showing up on Rite Aid’s website. I have never had a problem with that, so I called, receipts in hand. Come to find out that I read the ad wrong and none of the items I thought were on SCR really were! AND to make it worse, we had already started using the items (which I never do until the SCR goes through, but we needed to), so I couldn’t even return them.
So I thought, “OK, 1 screw up. It’s fine.” So it was nearing the end of the month, so I decided to request my check. I was very proud of myself for getting it done early this time. So I planned my trip for the next week. Another awesome week…or so I thought.
I entered my receipts and waited. None of them went through. What went wrong this time? Turns out I requested my February check a few days too early! So I lost out again! 
Moral of the story: Slow down! Take your time to get it right.
